Connect Update

Things have been pretty hectic the last week or so, but I promised myself (and you!) that this blog would be updated as frequently as I could manage, so I'm sticking to that.

I've been working on the specifications and now the code for the upcoming Feedback revisions on Connect. I'll have more specific details on what will be changing/improving later this week. The rest of the Connect team is working on their own functional areas, and there's some great stuff coming.

Later this week, I'll have more details on the stuff I'm working on (and maybe some screenshots!). I've also pestered some of the managers and leads for their perspective on the upcoming Connect updates, and I'll try and get that out as well.

CMS, out...

Could I have last feed back by on the full list page for each report instead of having to open each individually to see who the comment was made by?

Can you clarify this for me? It sounds like you're asking if there will be a way to sort feedback on the overview page by the last commentor. Is that correct?

Could we have a distinct tool for suggestions? Anything from a "File a Suggestion" button and accompanying tool to a checkbox on the MBC tool to differentiate. Just putting "Suggestion" at the beginning of a bug report puts suggestions at a disadvantage against bugs when bugs are the focus as now during the TechBeta testing.
