Connect Load Part II
Yesterday, May 23, was the largest single day in Connect history so far in terms of both page hits and data served. There was a minor problem in the morning with product keys, but the team quickly identified that and the site performed largely without any problems for the rest of the day.
By way of reference, the load yesterday was in excess of February 22, the day the Connect site failed under the load. And when I got in this morning, we were already exceeding yesterday's traffic numbers. So it looks like today is going to be even larger and the site so far is doing just fine.
The Distribution Services network did have some trouble this morning, as it was having a hard time keeping up with the load- FTM downloads had some brief interruptions. However, that should be largely cleared up by now.
