Connect Signin Problems
Some people have reported problems with signing in to Microsoft Connect. We're currently investigating this issue and have managed to reproduce it in various flavors with different browsers. At the moment it seems to be related to a certificate on the server. Internet Explorer 7 seems to be largely unaffected on my box, but some users have reported problems with it as well.
A workaround for being unable to sign directly in to a program or click on a URL and be redirected there after signing in is to visit the Connect homepage at
http://connect.microsoft.com and click the "Sign In" button directly, and then attempt to access the URL you wanted after signing in.
