Multilingual Applications

I am starting to see more and more applications which offer localization. It is important that more and more vendors realize that not everyone is fluent in English. However when localizing software there are some simple yet very important steps to take. I have presented whole sessions on this, however today I want to address just a single point. More

Nvidia's driver has this problem... And there are more, which i forgot, but yes it's extremely annoying.
Recently i ran a web application off CD from a major Dutch communication company called KPN and it gives lots of script errors and therefore doesn't work because my codepage is set in Chinese. I wonder if the helpdesk would know this when i call them... This shows it's not thoroughly tested to say the least...
