Majel Barrett of Star Trek passed away

Majel Barrett-Roddenberry , the widow of Gene Roddenberry (who created Star Trek), passed away today (December 18, 2008) as a result from complications from leukemia. In Star Trek lore, she was originally cast as "Number One" in the Star Trek
