The little things drive me crazy sometimes

There are still a bunch of little things about Windows that drive me crazy after using a Mac for so many years. On a Mac, when a text field is given intial focus, all the text is selected and when you hit the left arrow, it puts the focus at the beginning of the text field. On Windows, when you hit the left arrow, it moves the cursor one character from the far right. You have to hit Home to get to the beginning. Argh, drives me crazy!

Load OSX on your Intel machine and stop worrying about it! :-)

Im just wondering if you would have the exact same feeling going the othere way? Or if there really is a perfect reaction to things like this?

I never worked on othere OS than MS so i really cant tell whos rigth, but as a developer I often have problems like this when people say to me: When I do this, it has to do this.
When asked why, the answer is often "because program-X did so".

Good question. It's entirely possible it would bug me the other way around, although the Mac way seems so much more logical to me.

What drives me crazy is that the behavior that drives you crazy isn't consistent. For example, in IE the address bar works as described, but a TEXTAREA field works like the Mac. The other thing that drives me crazy is that clicking below the text on the Mac puts the cursor at the end of the text, but on Windows it puts the cursor on the last line at the horizontal position of the mouse.
