Frustrating error using Remote Desktop

Recently I've started hitting the error below when trying to connect to one of my Windows 2003 Server machines with the /console option:

(Error connecting to existing session for dancre (Id 0). The operation completed successfully.)

You've got to love an error explanation of "The operation completed successfully". Restarting the server box fixes it for a while, but then it starts happening again.

Has anyone else seen this? Any idea how to fix it?

Not sure what the problem is, but I did take the liberty of submitting it to worsethanfailure.com :-)

Hm... I'm seeing the same error as well.  I'm still running Win2K SP1 and wondering if SP 2 would fix it.

I have this same issue, but from a Vista machine to a XP machine. It worked great for a long time, then one day I just started getting the error and havn't been able to connect since.

I can go from my XP machine to my vista machine no problem still though.

Very odd and annoying.
