"The Independant Software Architects Council of Malaysia (ISAC-M), a non-profit organization, was formed recently representing a concerted effort on the part of both IT vendors and users to define, regulate and facilitate the advancement of software architecture as an industry in the country.

As a special interest group (SIG) of the Malaysian National Computer Confederation (MNCC), it hopes to be a definitive forum for discussion amoung independant software architects in the country, facilitating discourse on emerging architecture trends and how they can be applied locally. ISAC-M has also linkage with the International Association of Software Architects (IASA)."

I've been a member of the Malaysian National Computer Confederation (MNCC) for a number of years, giving talks when I can, and I'd highly encourage those of you resident in Malaysia to give them your support. For those wanting to become members of ISAC-M, you'll need to become a member of the MNCC first, since the ISAC-M is one of the SIGs of MNCC (you might like to check out the other SIGs as well).
