ATTENTION TEACHERS—LOOKING FOR YOUR INPUT!

My colleague Jay Schmelzer from the Visual Basic Team is looking for your feedback for future versions of Visual Studio and how it can help Academia.  I would say that today, Visual Studio is almost TOO robust for most academic scenarios.  To some extent, this is to be expected given that it’s designed primarily to make professional developers more productive and effective.  But thanks to some “squeaky wheels” on the Academic Developer Team, the Visual Studio product team is interested in hearing you on how Visual Studio can be improved for *TEACHING* the principles of Computer Science.  So let’s hear it!  What would make Visual Studio ideal for teaching/learning? How can we make Visual Studio a remarkable product for faculty and students?
