Excellent! I hope this driver will be available for Windows 2003 Server as well! We have to import data from Excel and this functionality is very important for us. We have moved to 64-bit and now we need a 32-bit server to select from the excel-file and into a table on the 64-bit server.

This great news. We have been really stressed. We need to be able to import data from an HP NonStop to our SQL Server data warehouse.

We too would like to have MSDASQL available for Windows 2003 Server. The sooner the better!

I trust this will also be in vista SP! 64 bit edition too. I also concurr that the next Server 2003 service PAK for 64 bit shoudl also have this.

We could use this also in our win 2003 x64 now. Could you advise if it is or is not avail as a separate download or can we get it from the Longhorn beta, or advise if its not compatabile with win 2003 x64? At least I'll know if I need tell my boss we need to get a workaround...

I too urgently need this for our win2003 x64 environment. so far we have had move back to our old environment which is less than ideal.

There is an installer for Itanium, but I didn't found a x64t OLEDB Provider for ODBC. Does any body found it?

I too am desperate for a 64Bit OLE DB to ODBC driver.

I am assuming that it will only access 64bit to 64 bit or will it be able to address 32bit ODBC System DSNs as well?

Where can I download this 64-bit OLEDB Provider for ODBC? Windows Server 2008 has now been released so I would assume that Longhorn Beta 3 is long gone and therefore this OLEDB driver should be available. HELP!

Can someone post a link here where I can download the update for Windows 2003 which will included the 64-bit MSDASQL?

And also, if anyone has an anticipated release timeframe, that would be helpful too. The last estimate I received was by the end of March...

I was wondering about the licensing requirements on the 64 bit msdasql.dll Can this be distributed with a non-microsoft product that runs on windows? Where can I find the license agreement that would clearly state whether the above is allowed or not.

I have tried looking at the license agreement of the hotfix itself but says that it is a supplement to windows and that is not conclusive. Any pointer would be helpful
