A Window on all things Embedded
DIFFERENCES BETWEEN WINDOWS CE 5.0 AND CE 6.0

So by now, you probably know that the Windows CE 6.0 kernel offers a vastly expanded address space along with many more processes than the Windows CE 5.0 kernel.  But what is the significance of all this to the embedded developer, in terms of system performance, reliability, and security?

Check out this great WindowsForDevices article, by Ashok Babu of e-con Systems, where he reviews some of the architectural differences between CE 5.0 and CE 6.0 and explains how the changes impact performance and security.

Hi

Can any body tell me the differences in Power manager (in architecture and functionality) from windows CE 5.0 and windows CE 6.0?

What all need to be considered while porting from windows CE 5.0 application to windows CE 6.0 with regard to power management.

I would be grateful to to you if you could share your knowledge with me.
