Stuff I do and stuff I think about
Webcasts

A couple of weeks ago I did my first ever webcast with a colleague of mine, Dave Glover, and I have to admit, it was great fun to do (although a little scary at times)! We were using Microsoft Office Live Meeting – it’s a very neat bit of technology, and great for whole host of scenarios – not just webcasts - but collaboration, meetings, etc. Have a look at the on-line tour to get a feel for what it can do.

The topic for the webcast was ASP.NET V2. I’ve spent quite a bit of time with the V2 alpha, and am very impressed. For an alpha release there is a lot of functionality there and it is very stable. Look out for a public beta around summer, if all goes well. BTW, I used a demo from this webcast in my keynote demo at the recent Developing Software for the Future Microsoft Platform.

If you want to watch the actual webcast, then click here and enjoy!
