Firewalls do little against hackers who come through the front door!
There is an awesome interview with Kevin Mitnick on Radio GoDaddy at the moment, I really recommend people download it and have a listen.
You can either listen to it or download it; it's pretty funny. It starts with Radio GoDaddy's usual segment on strange domains, including some dude who collects/sells toilet seats, and some UFO site...hmmm.
The actual interview with Kevin is really good, and he covers a broad range of topics. He has just released his second book, The Art of Intrusion, and he also talks about companies greatest security venerabilities. The top one he feels is people setting up systems with default systems, but also discusses the astounding success rate of Social Engineering. Grab your black or white hats you'll!
