Sofa Skirts… What’s the Deal?

So one of the things I’ve noticed since moving to the U.S is the complete obsession American’s (now, I’m being facetious, this observation is based purely on advertising) have with clothing you can wear while on the sofa/couch!

First I saw the “Snuggie”:

Essentially, it’s a blanket with sleeves, and has raised the ire of other perplexed consumers!

But then Yil sent me this today!

The Pantalaine “Couch Dress”! WTF!?

To be honest, if I’m going to get out and about with a piece of clothing that seconds as a coverlet, I’m going with the Pantalaine, I mean, just look how hot the model looks! Smoking!
