How to add a SSP scope to a display group in MOSS2007?

MOSS2007 has two levels of scopes: scopes that are created in a SSP and scopes that are created in a Site Collection.  In Beta 2, the SSP scopes that you created must be added to the Display Groups in a Site Collection.

Here's how:

• Create your SSP scope via the Central Administration site
• Login to your top-level Site Collection with an account to manage Search scopes
• Click on Site Actions, Site Settings, Modify All Site Settings
• Under Site Collection Administration, click Search scopes
• Click Search Dropdown link next to Display Group
• On the Edit Scope Display Group, you can enable the SSP scope you created earlier, change the order of the list and select the default scope.
• Click OK to save your changes.

Now that was easy!
