I was at the MSDN event in Austin on 4-22 and really enjoyed your presentation. I was reading your blog and came across this, "Storing User Information with ASP.NET 2.0 Profiles". This is exactly what I need NOW for an ASP.NET 1.1 application which will probably be in production before VS 2005 is shipping. I'm sure I could roll-my-own Profile object but I wanted to ask if you have done this sort of thing in ASP.NET 1.1?

To answer your question about membership and personalization in the .NET framework 1.1, you can download DotNetNuke. It has a some of the components based on 1.1 but the same API functionality.
