About Passion of Software Engineer
One day in 1999, when I was still third year college student of Dalian University of Technology (Dalian, P.R.China), I walked into a computer store in a downtown shopping mall and noticed a group of people were gathering around a computer and talking about stock market. My curiosity pushed me getting closer, and I saw they were using the web based java program to get real-time stock information. I created that program as my innovation project back in the summer of 1998. That moment, the excitement and the proudness, will be remembered for the rest of my life. Because, at that very moment, I realized what I am really passionated about – using software making people’s life better. I believe it should be the passion of every software engineer.
