Though I can't say I've been through anything quite this rough, everyone I know has been through some form of this.

I've lived this scenario too many times.  The circle of life is closing for me now though.  I can usually send in the grand kids.  The are afforded a lot more patience and usually walk away with a pat on the back or maybe even a five spot.
