The site has a growing list of source-code samples in .NET and Java, including an overview of Java manipulation of Open XML written by my friend Julien Chable.

Added 11/13: the second part of Julien's series has more great information about Java-based Open XML development, but it's a little hard to find on the site. So here's the link. Enjoy!
