Visual Studio 2005 Express is Free
As announced by Dan Fernandez on his blog the Visual Studio Express editions are to be free forever. They've been a free download as part of a promotion for a little while but this announcement makes them permanently free!
I love the Web Developer edition which contains a stunning amount of stuff and does not feel like a limited version at all. If you haven't tried it out I suggest you do so.
