It's fun reading some of the comments on the team blog. Clearly some people didn't actually bother to read the post or follow the links to the resources for more

re: IE7 - It's Getting Close!

So is MS going to provide a free windows license to load on the free Virtual PC they suggest so we can run IE6 & 7 side by side ?. I cant justify spending the $AUD300 for a XP home license to test a browser.

Edney

Dave -

Getting ready for IE7 here and we can't wait! We love the CSS fixes and the new JScript 5.7.

BTW, if JScript 5.7 finds its way into an upgrade patch for IE6, I will make sure that the individual responsible receives a nice bottle of his or her favorite wine :-). You see, I still have customers on Win2K that cannot upgrade to IE7, but I desperately need the performance improvements that JScript 5.7 offers.

Thanks to you and your team for a great IE7 release!!

Cheers,

- Bill

I often want to check my e-mail without having to have a browser open.

Can anyone help or refer me somehere I can get help?

After a day or so I found it impossible to connect up to the internet; all that happened was that my modem window flashed on to the screen for a fraction of a section and then disappeared. I have removed IE7 and am back to IE6 and all seems to be OK. Anyone got any ideas? Perhaps Microsoft can suggest something?
