Microsoft SharePoint Learning Kit
A really exciting project Microsoft is currently working on with the SharePoint Learning Kit (SLK). SLK is a standards compliant e-learning tool that exploits the tools and platforms currently in use in many education institutions. This, IMHO, will help to reducethe technical wizardry required by educators when working using VLEs by allowing them to use tools they are already familiar with.

The SLK will be provided free under a community licence when it eventually ships.
Also, it will integrate fully into the learning gateway enabling insitutions to leverage more of their corporate resources into the VLE.
