Bill Gates and Steve Jobs: Keynote tag cloud

PictureI love this tag-cloud generator tool -  Todd Bishop did an analysis of the keynotes that Steve Job gave at Macworld and Bill Gates gave at CES.

PictureIt's interesting to see the kinds of terms they each use, and how often.  Bill likes to say "great" and Steve said "phone" a LOT.

The Seattle PI posted another neat use of this in Microsoft's evolution, in keywords

"What happens when you boil down one company's history into a series of keywords? We collected dozens of key Microsoft-related speeches, interviews, internal e-mails and other documents from the past three decades, and put them through a program that generated a timeline of tag clouds showing the 64 most commonly used words in each."

It's fun to explore that timeline.  Check it out!
