Bill Gates Keynote at CEO Summit and Executive Email

Bill will focus his talk on how the world of work is evolving, and how organizations that empower their information workers by embracing the New World of Work will be best positioned for business success in this new era. Also this executive e-mail highlights our vision for the New World of Work and the next generation of software for information workers – including the significant investments we’re making to build on the solid foundation of the Microsoft Office system.

New World of Work White Paper

The New World of Work white paper available now on www.microsoft.com/presspass addresses key trends taking place in the changing working place, important technologies that will influence how we work, and how Microsoft will play a leadership role in driving the next wave of productivity in information work. Specifically, five key focus areas of Office 12 are outlined, including individual impact, collaboration, knowledge discovery and insight, enterprise content lifecycle, and information solutions & IT fundamentals. This disclosure is also supported by confirmation that we’ll deliver Office 12 in the second half of 2006 and deliver Beta 1 of the system this fall.
