Visual Studio 2008 SDK 1.0 and Visual Studio 2008 Shell released

My colleague Phil brought to my attention yet another release following on from the release of Visual Studio 2008 earlier this week.

The Visual Studio 2008 SDK 1.0 allows developers to build extensions to the Visual Studio 2008 development environment and the Visual Studio 2008 Shell allows them to develop customised tools hosted in the Visual Studio 2008 environment and redistribute this IDE with their tools. How cool is that!

Check out the Visual Studio Extensibility portal on MSDN for more information, resources and blog links.
