MVP Kevin Boles presenting at Huntsville .NET UG on April 8
Join the Visual Studio .NET User Group on Tuesday, April 8th, 2008, beginning at 6:00 PM at the Intergraph Corporation Building 15b Auditorium. Kevin Boles will present 'SQL Server 2008 (Part 2 of Community Launch Event)'. As usual, there will be free pizza, soft drinks and door prizes (including special prizes from Resharper and Telerik).
Katmai - the code name for the new version of SQL Server now in CTP phase - is looking to provide an incredible array of improvements and new features. Kevin will cover a wide range of topics for this upgrade, which is scheduled for release in the first half of 2008. He will specially focus on some important topics for developers, including new data types and numerous TSQL enhancements.
Kevin Boles, Indicum Resources, is a SQL Server expert, working exclusively with the product since version 6.5. with over 15 years of IT industry experience. He holds pretty much every SQL Server certification and was recently awarded Microsoft SQL Server MVP. He teaches both private and public courses and has been a successful consultant for the past 10 years or so.
