G4-TechTV sucks

The G4-TechTV merger has to go down in history as the worst corporate bungling since the new Coke and it continues to get worse.

Finally, I see a TSS host that's not only a geek, but who's actually funny and is not card carrying Linux or Apple bigot - and what do they do?  They fire him.

Alex Albrecht was a great addition to The Screen Savers whom I'll miss more than the show, which coincidentally was also axed.

I can only hope that some other media entrepreneur finds the geek TV market attractive and decides to enter with a quality product.

That show has had its ups and downs as inept management group after inept management group has their way with it. The most recent form with Kevin, Sarah and Alex (by far the funniest host they've ever had) was definitely A Good Thing. It's really a shame. Comcast just doesn't get it at any level.

Television? That's that non-interactive video thing? What geek has time for that?

I have to disagree with you on Alex Albrecht. I think he is one of the reasons the show is gone. Once he got on there, the show was more about how to make people laugh than how to help people and give them good advise. It started to look like the hosts were just having one big party! Alex wasted a large amount of time on the show by making stupid inappropriate comments. Anyways...this is just one man's opinion.

I just saw the new show on Monday and I have never been more disappointed in a show. G4-TechTV has just destroyed one of the most entertaining shows they ever had. I was bored out my mind on Monday and Tuesday and the show just seems like another episode of Fresh Gear (kill me now!) I have been a long time fan of TSS, but now I don't know if I will continue to watch this waste of air time.
