TechEd Chalk Talk Slides and .NET Framework 3.0 CTP

Two announcements coming out today.

The first announcement is that the slides from the chalk talks at Tech Ed are now available.  You can get the slides for the WCF presentations from the community site and I'll let you explore to find the slides for the WF presentations (hint: it only requires changing one letter in the URL).

The second announcement is that the newly renamed .NET Framework 3.0 has a CTP release out.  The June CTP is the first with the .NET 3.0 name instead of WinFX.  This link is just for the runtime.  I haven't seen a link to the SDK yet for this CTP but I expect it will be available soon.  My blog is now three name changes out of date.

[Update] An important detail that I thought should be mentioned: this release is not compatible with Windows Vista Beta 2.

This CTP (Community Tech Preview) is intended for users of Windows Vista build 5456, Windows XP, or Windows 2003 Server. It is not supported for users running the Windows Vista Beta 2 for .NET Framework 3.0 development. If you are using Windows Vista Beta 2 for .NET Framework 3.0 development, we recommend that you do not install this version of the CTP and instead use the Beta 2 release.
