What is this Exchange sink used for with Duet 1.5 and do I really need it?

You may have noticed the following folder on the Duet 1.5 install media, under the “Microsoft | IT Administrator Files | Exchange Event Sink”.  This folder contains the bits to install a Exchange Event Sink into your infrastructure’s Exchange server.

Duet install of SQL Express fails if MSXML 6 Service Pack 2 (KB954459) is installed
