Does the new VB.NET have some of the error checks that C# has?

Such as:
Not all code paths return a value
Variable X is never used/Set

These should be in VB also, don't know why they are not. Would have prevented me some bugs in VB.NET. C# makes these issues obvious.

Would be nice if we had a compiled list of error codes in different .NET languages.

We might be surprised at what we find different.

Thanks,

Schneider
