Import Data Tip

When using the import wizard to import CSV files into Microsoft Dynamics CRM, you can speed up the mapping process by loading some sample data into the wizard. <Load Sample Data>

Make sure you sample data does not have empty data in a column or you might an error. Occasionally you might get an error stating the file is too big to load. If so, use a sample data file that only has the column headers and no data.

Also, when creating your data map for importing data, make sure you mark fields not being mapped to be ignored. The wizard won't complain but you could get errors during the import.
