Backup and Restore of Team Foundation Server Databases

The Team Foundation Server databases have a increased level of interdependency.  As such, there should be special consideration given to how to backup and restore these databases.  See the following links for a guide on how to backup and restore these databases:

Below is a set of steps for the restore from the article:

To restore Team Foundation Server data, you must perform the following procedures:

Stop the services on the application tier.

Restore the Team Foundation databases.

Build the data warehouse.

Restart the servers.

Force clients to update their cache.
