Managing Virtual Server 2005 Through Terminal Services
When building a Virtual Server 2005 R2 installation on a remote machine through Terminal Services, you might run into difficulty visiting the actual administration website. If you turn off friendly error messages in IE, you get a HTTP 500 status which indicates that the "parameter is incorrect". What you have to do is to ensure that you launch remote desktop using a run command as follows:
mstsc /console /v:<server>
This will enable the website to render inside Terminal Services on the server.
