I'm interested to know how other users of Sharpoint Server 2007 have implemented IRM with respect to control of Corporate Policy Documents on their Intranet. OK as you have mentioned IRM is supported in 3 of the native Office formats; however it is becoming increasingly difficult to publish content in such a limited format. Oyr corporate policies are published as MS Word, PDF, HTML and text only formats for various accessibility reasons and reader applications. How should such a situation be tackled within a Sharepoint 2007 infrastructure? My biggest problem is that the base level restrictions need to be 'no printing' and 'no copy (including cut & paste)'. However certain departments will want to be able to print subsections of the corporate policy for logistical and operational efficiency reasons; so how much out of the box support does Sharepoint Server 2007 provide for this?

Good to learn about the after effects of IRM with SharePoint 2007. But for beginers it would be good if you explain in detail about the installation and configuration of IRM server and its integration with MOSS 2007

So I am assuming that you do need a IRM server on your network in order for Sharepoint to work?

I am facing problem to restrict download during setup a media library like YOU Tube in Share Point Services 3.0. User(s) will upload media file(s) and see all uploaded video with streaming.

Here is a restriction that User can upload his file in document library but can’t download someone else file(s). If user knows or guesses someone else’s file name, he/she can manipulate URL, put that file name and get save as dialog box. Now he/she can get.

If you have any idea about how to prevent download in Share Point Video streaming site, please suggest me.
