Once by my partner in crime Bob German out of the Boston MTC and Russ Stalters. So the way I undertand it, I owe you all 5 things you didn't know about me:

1. I am a huge netflix fan and love watching seasons of television shows on DVD. My favorite shows are Lost and Battlestar Galactica.

2. Favorite Xbox or Xbox 360 game: Lego Star Wars II. Yes my son kicks my butt.

3. I was a band geek. No not really, I was in the drum section (quads) and played drum set in jazz band. So at least a cool band geek.

4. Favorite Comedian: Robin Williams. There is no one funnier than Mork.

5. I love Jeep vechicles. I have owned a Wrangler, but a tree fell on it. Have grown up and had 2 Libertys since.

So to tag five other people: Brian Jones, LuisBE, Lamont, Doug Mahugh, Scott Hillier

Visit http://www.microsoft.com/services/microsoftservices/tech.mspx to learn more about the Microsoft MTCs.

My first job after college was as a math and computer science teacher for Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, MD. I quickly turned over the entire computer science program upgrading it from PASCAL and Word Perfect for DOS courses to C++, Visual Basic, and Microsoft Office. I still joke about tearing off all the cheat sheets taped on the keyboards above the function keys to get people to start using Word and Windows.

Eventually I took the advice of my students and left teaching to enter the consulting world. After working for a government contractor as an intranet administrator and developer, I got back to my teaching roots by working for a CTEC teaching MCSD, MCSE, and MCDBA courses as well as writing the custom software that ran the business nationwide. Most recently I worked as the Director of Technology for e.magination, a Baltimore-based Microsoft Gold Partner. While there I designed, developed, and delivered many web based solutions. My projects were diverse spanning government, non-profit, and commercial clients. I also expanded on my custom development experiences to include solutions leveraging Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server and Microsoft Content Management Server.

When not glued to my computer, I love playing with my four year old son who is the Orioles' solution for their pitching woes. I am also e.magination's reigning fantasy football champion.

Enjoy! - Ed Hild
