September 2008 Security Updates are Now Available
The September 2008 Windows XP Embedded Security Updates are now available on the ECE for Microsoft® Windows® XP Embedded with Service Pack 2, Feature Pack 2007, and/or Update Rollup 1.0. The downloads are cumulative and include updates for the Desktop QFE Installer (DQI) Tool.
The following new DQI updates are included in this release for September – please see the ECE for more details:
· KB 938464 - Vulnerabilities in GDI+ Could Allow Remote Code Execution.
· KB 954154 - Vulnerability in Windows Media Player Could Allow Remote Code Execution.
All Component Database updates updates up to August 2008 are included in the Windows folder.
