IE Security Update 960714
As some may be aware, Microsoft released a critical security update for the desktop operating systems yesterday to address a vulnerability in IE. This update was released outside of Microsoft's usual release schedule.
The Windows Sustained Engineering team for the Windows Embedded products has been working closely with the IE team to understand the impact of this fix, and have authored the DQI update for Windows XPe and Windows Embedded Standard. This fix, which is undergoing final testing, will be put into the release channel today or tomorrow.
