Screencast about Silverlight Mesh-enabled web applications
At PDC conference Microsoft announced Windows Azure and Azure Services Platform as a new strategic technologies for developers in the cluod. Live Framework is a part of this platform.
From user prospective Live Mesh is a really great (and free!) application to share data between different computers and devices. By the way, Live Mesh won Best Technology Innovation of 2008. Live Framework is a way for developers of using Mesh infrastructure at their own apps.
So, Live Framework is very interesting offer for developers. Futhermore, we can use existing Silverlight apps and skills to use Mesh infranstructure inside them and create so called Silverlight Mesh-Enabled web applications.
I’ve recorded ‘100 level’ video about that process for developers who are not familiar with Live Framework and other Azure stuff. It’s ‘how-to’ video about creating really simple MEWA in Silverlight.
