MSDN Webcast: Creating and Extending System Definition Models

Dmitriy Nikonov and I will be hosting a webcast on MSDN this Tuesday from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM PST.

We will cover extending System Definition Models (SDM), particularly defining new components and endpoints in SDM that can be used with VSTESA designers. Then, we will explain how to extend models to define “validators” – codified best practices available with the model – followed by a Q&A session.

You can sign up for this webcast  from the following link:

Introducing Myself ...

Hi - I am Erbil Yilmaz, a Software Development Engineer in Test on the Visual Studio Team Edition for Software Architects (VSTESA) team. In this blog, I and probably some of my teammates will be sharing our insights and observations on tools/designers we work on for software architects.

As one of the initiators of "validators", I have been focused on extending SOA designers, available with VSTESA 2005, for defining new components/endpoints/resources/settings and beyond that codifying best practices using System Definition Model (SDM) extensibility, as well as Logical Datacenter Designers and model validation pieces of VSTESA.

In this blog, you will find discussions around model validation, “validators” - codifying best practices in SDM, extending designers in VSTESA and security.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
