VSTO Deployment Gets Easy

Paul Stubbs blogs about how easy we made deployment in VSTO Orcas.

We got rid of our dependency on caspol and now have a version independent policy store.  We now use ClickOnce including the ClickOnce cache.  We do automatic update checking on an interval specified by the developer so you can publish your add-in to the web and users can get updates automatically.  We support web site, UNC shares, or CD/removable storage installs

In short, I think we really made deploying VSTO document and add-in solutions for Office 2007 easy.

Will this ease of deployment apply to VSTO and Office 2003 (specifically Outlook 2003 add-ins)?

What is the status on releasing the outlook version of the deployment wizard?  How do we add the vsto pia's in the prereqisits?
