PDC2008

I’m really excited about PDC2008, and the cool, new technology that we’ll be showing - the future of C# and ASP.NET.  Since I’m a bit of a language geek, I’m personally looking forward to the sessions on the future of C#, and IronRuby.

And learn about building business applications using Silverlight.  I believe that this is the wave of the future.

Also Live Mesh, Office Communications Server, SQL Server 2008, FAST, Silverlight, Oslo, Visual Studio Team System, Virtualization, SharePoint, Dynamics, and Windows 7.

"Oslo" is the family of new technologies that enable data-driven development and execution of services and applications. This is a technology you will want to know about.

Looking forward to it. Way for the C# team to tease us by casually mentioning the "4 new features in C#" in their replies to MS Connect tickets without explaining what those are!

Hey, int19h, you in particular need to stop by and say hi!  :)

Not likely, unfortunately - myself living in Russia doesn't help much...

However, things going the way they are, I will hopefully be able to stop by and say hi in Redmond as a coworker by the end of this year ;)
