&lt;p&gt;This would be a process of splitting nodes at the point where you want to attach the comment. &amp;nbsp;In other words, if you want the comment attachment point to start at some point in the paragraph, and end at another point, runs must be split at those points. &amp;nbsp;This would make a good blog post - I'll add it to my list.&lt;/p&gt;
