The office conference videos are a huge value. But my media player 10 fails to play many of them to completion because of some missing codec. As far as I can tell the media player is up to date with Microsoft's codecs. There is also no reason why the files should be so big. The PDC 2005 session files were an order of magnitude smaller and included a nice video of the presenter. The content is impressive. But the production is far behind Microsoft's best efforts.

Hi David,

I really appreciate your feedback. I agree with you the videos are not the best polished multimedia. They are actually raw unedited recordings from the sessions. The recordings we published contain more than 3,600 hours of video, so it was hard to catch all flaws when we tested them.

We have found some recordings (6) that have some problems and we are in the process of correcting and republishing them.

Thanks again for sharing your impressions and I am glad that you find this content impressive :).
