New Blog Focused on BI

If you are passionate about business intelligence (BI), you may be interested to know that a new Microsoft blog has started that is all about BI.  It is aptly named The BI Blog.

One interesting recent post talks about how Microsoft was recently placed in the Leaders Quadrant for BI platforms in Gartner's Business Intelligence Magic Quadrant.

As Excel is a Microsoft product I would first make a visit to www.microsoft.com. This should take you to Microsoft online homepage. On the third tab along the top you should see the ‘Help and How-to’ tab. Click here and choose the product that you are interested in from the main page. In your case excel 2003 or 2007. These are interactive tuitions that take through each step. There is also a written script on the page, which can be printed of if needed. As this is online you can access this from any pc with Internet connection. I recommend this as a good place to start. Let me us know your response. terry.lynch@pcmasters.org.uk

So far, the new BI blog is disappointing.

Nothing there but marketing blurbs.
