1) What are the Networking Technologies available for Exchange Server 2007? 

The Exchange Server 2007 uses the following networking foundations of the underlying Microsoft Windows Server operating systems:

  • Network Device Interface Services (NDIS)
  • The TCP/IP stack.

2) How MAPI clients are communicated with Exchange Server 2007?

Exchange 2007 also uses the remote procedure call (RPC) interface to communicate with MAPI clients.
