Some of the missing stuff (mfc, atl) can apparently be added by installing the Platform SDK - or so say folks on the web. I can't get it to work - am I missing something?

RE Joel: Neither MFC or ATL are part of the Platform SDK. These libraries have always been part of the Professional (not sure abut Standard) and above versions.

For the real reason of this post: No Source Code Control in the Express line seems to be a shortsighted decision. The target of these products should be able to use some kind of SCC from inside the IDE: either to educate/introduce the importance of SCC via an easy to use interface or to improve the workflow for the user who already does use SCC.

PS: the comment by "music" is most likely spam...

Got it - I assumed that c:\Program files\Platform SDK\src\[crt|mfc|atl] were what the names implied - who do I ask about that?
