Maybe you can show us how a real vista button is done? I thought I'd leave it open for the user to experiment but if you want to write a new article thats more detailed I'm sure someone out there will find it of good use.

I love your tutorial, but I couldn't get both sides of the gradient to be white, without it turning into the fill tool with a solid color.

Not working. everytime I go to adjust the W and H they use their own set guidlines. For example when I type 145 for W , H goes to 48.33 then when I type in the H 25 W goes to 75. What do I do? bob_drawson@msn.com

Hi Bob,

it seems like your width and height proportions are constrained. Click on the small chain symbol between the two fieds where you enter the width and height values to remove the lock.

how does this work with expressions blend V2? using the search field in properties I do not find a "corner radius" attribute.

guys this tutorial is for version 1, not 2 though it is still possible.
