This was my first attempt at industrial design. Because the radio is supposed to look circa 1950s, an airbrush treatment was a must; I used a lot of gradients in varying opacity and a lot of soft edges created with the Gaussian Blur Live Effect. More

It’s a simple idea; the hardest part was getting the scoops of ice cream to look appetizing. There are three basic models for the scoops of ice cream—I changed colors of duplicates to come up with all the flavors you see here. More
The People's Music
This is a homage/parody of Russian Revolutionary posters in the post-Stalin era. I used chromatic opposites for the base colors, varying them a little as called for in the main illustration and then just copied the illustration to make the final drawing. More
Jester
I based this drawing on a $5 sculpture I found at a close-out store. The smoothness of the illustration was achieved through the use of careful color definition, a lot of objects and a few custom gradients. More
