Last time I programmed anything it was in Fortran and I was in high school. I had a job working for Lockheed as a student and learned a great deal on how to code, build test systems, and overall, work in a highly technical environment.

But I digress. One of the challenges I have faced in learning how to understand Blend and WPF is my lack of knowledge of object oriented programming. Take a look at this link:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/beginner/kids/csharp/

A primer on how to learn C# for children. Short, shallow, easy to digest chunks. All the pieces you need to get a basic understanding on how to program. Why is that good? Well, at this point, getting the most out of Blend and adapting to a workflow that integrates well with professional developers, knowing a little about code, enough to be dangerous, just might help.

Anyhow, our on-line training beats buying a $50 book you'll only use once or use for a door stop.
