Why is the new MSN Search engine ignoring my blog?

The new MSN Search engine is simply ignoring my blog: http://search.msn.com/results.aspx?q=%22Florin+Lazar%22&FORM=QBHP

Any other search engine will point the first hit to http://blogs.msdn.com/florinlazar but MSN Search seems to skip my page. I don't know why...

[Update April 18, 2005] Good news, MSN Search finally got to my blog today.

Florin,

ignoring seems to be a strong point with msn search. for example, it knows about 2.500 pages from my site 'nickles.de' - google otoh, has more than 520.000 pages from nickles.de in its index.

way to go for msn, imho.

Strangely enough, MSN seems to visit my blog every week or so, but it shows up low in the results when I search for my name (while my blog is #1 when looking for "Ovidiu Platon" with Google).

As far as I know, search engines tune their rankings according to many factors; maybe MSN is just too young for now and it needs to learn more from its users. I know Google does this for sure: Every once in a while, when clicking on a result I'm redirected to Google first and to the actual website later. Usually I'm taken directly to the website. It may be a way of collecting samples for rankings, imho.
